No.5 Sudarsih & Wiwin (No. of Check Out : 50)
Sudarsih is fond of reading before she goes to sleep. But it is Holy Quran that she favours. The books borrowed from the library were read during working hours. She admitted that she is lucky that her current boss allows her to read in the afternoon. "He is a good man!" She has a very good relationship with the family. "The boy is very nice to me and so do his parents. Sometimes, they even excuse me from cooking."

The only thing that she would complain now is the heavy dust in the house. "I have to clean it many times a day. It's tiresome."

Sudarsih has been in Hong Kong for six years, but she still wants to stay. "I want to save more money for future use. Besides, I have four brothers and sisters to take care of. They need money to continue their studies."

Her favourite books are those about the Prophet (pbuh) and his companions. "They taught us the importance of one's sense of responsibility. We must learn how to take responsibilities and to face the consequences if we do bad things."

There is one particular book she would like to recommend - "Beri Aku Satu Bidadari". "It is a novel about that beauty of one's soul is more important than beauty of one's physical appearance."

With a high-pitched clear voice, Wiwin is friendly, energetic and hardworking. And most of the time, she wears a smile.

She is looking after a 95-year-old lady now. She would read when the lady takes her afternoon nap. But she reads most of the books at night and those books are borrowed from our library.

Recently, she bought a second-hand laptop. She is very keen on learning computer skills and English. "I believe that if I know how to use computer and speak English well, I will be more favoured in the job market." In fact, she is planning to work in an English speaking country.

Wiwin is very pragmatic. It is no wonder why her favourite books are those on practical knowledge. "You know sometimes we feel strained and we do not know how to communicate with each other. Books that teach us how to relax and how to make friends would be very helpful."
