Despite the rainy weather, Hong Kong Islamic Youth Association(HKIYA) was determined to do dawah on the 30th of August, 2015 (Sunday) from 10:00 am to 4:45 pm at Charter Road, Central (opposite to Mandarin Oriental Hotel). Almost 30 participants volunteered to do dawah. The volunteers braved the rain and held umbrellas while discussing Islam with interested people. By the grace and mercy of Allah S.W.T., one Filipino sister embraced Islam. Before the street dawah programme, a Street Dawah Training workshop was held on the 29th of August, 2015 (Saturday) from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at 4/F (Classroom), Wan Chai Masjid. 7 people attended and learned some tips when it comes to giving dawah. HKIYA would like to use this opportunity to ask the MUSLIM YOUTHS to volunteer and be part of the dawah team for Allah S.W.T. says in the Quran (Chapter 41 Verse 33): "And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims.".
